Japanese Fried Rice

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups cooked Basmati Rice set aside
  • 2 Eggs Scrambled in 1 Tbsp Olive Oil and set aside
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 Yellow Onion cut in thin strips
  • 6 oz. Frozen Vegetable Mixture (Carrots Peas & Beans)
  • 1/4 Cup Chives diced
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 3-4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

Cook and set aside Rice and Scrambled Eggs.

Heat Sesame Oil on Med-High heat. Add Onions and Vegetables. Sauté 5 minutes until soft. Fold in cooked rice, Butter, cooked eggs, chives , garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir over medium heat until fully mixed.

Servings: 6 (1 1/2 cup servings)
