Simple Lemon Lime Parmesan Crusted Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

This recipe is great for kids and is not too unhealthy in the grand scheme of all things unhealthy these days.

1 -2 lbs chicken tenders

1 tablespoon of paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 cup Italian  bread crumbs 

1/2 cup of parmesan 

1 teaspoon of salt 

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon of pepper (freshly ground)

3 tablespoons melted butter

Juice of Two Lemons 

Juice of Three Limes 

3 tablespoons of minced garlic 

Mix paprika,  garlic powder, parmesan, oregano, cumin, salt, bread crumbs, and pepper in medium bowl. Next mix lemon juice, lime juice, garlic and butter in a medium bowl. First toss tenders in lemon and lime juice mixture. Coat evenly.  Next toss tenders  in dry rub mixture. Depending on  Air Fryer pre heat to 350 degrees. Next put the coated tenders in the Air Fryer basket. (be sure not to overlap) Air fry for 10-18 minutes until internal temperature reads 165°F and the chicken tenders are golden brown and crispy. Quick Tip: If you have the time let the chicken marinate in the lemon lime garlic sauce for about 30 minutes to an hour. Really gives the flavor time to sink in. Enjoy!
